Christopher Price is the Managing Director and U.K./EMEA Lead at SHP Legal Services, based in London. In this capacity, he directs strategic legal solutions for businesses and legal teams, ensuring the seamless integration of legal expertise into processes, projects, and operations. Specializing in financial services, particularly banking and capital markets, he helps clients navigate regulatory complexities while optimizing their legal functions.
Chris’s approach is grounded in innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering practical value. He is recognized for his ability to address complex challenges in dynamic industries, recently leading engagements on DORA, Consumer Duty, Schrems II, and contract digitization. Before joining SHP Legal Services, Chris spent 27 years at EY in London, including 24 years as a partner. As Managing Partner for EY Law for Financial Services, he established EY Law on the legal panels of EMEIA’s largest banks and led the acquisitions of Riverview Law and Pangea 3, positioning EY as a leader in alternative legal services. Earlier in his career, he qualified and practiced as a tax lawyer at Freshfields, building a foundation in technical excellence. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence from Oxford University, highlighting his enduring commitment to legal scholarship and professional distinction.
